Marco Polostraat 251-255

In January 2026, Amsterdam Urban Developments acquired three adjoining properties at Marco Polostraat 251–255 in Amsterdam-West, totaling approximately 800 m². At the time of purchase, the 1926 complex consisted of twelve residential units, some of which were tenanted.

By converting the attic levels into independent living spaces, three additional apartments were created, bringing the total to fifteen residences—all developed within the existing building structure. As the complex is situated on municipal leasehold land, the leasehold right was first subdivided; subsequently, AUD carried out a formal cadastral subdivision of the complex into fifteen individually transferable apartment rights.

The units that were vacant at the time of acquisition have been renovated—featuring new kitchens and bathrooms—and have since been sold individually to owner-occupiers. The tenanted units remain in the company’s portfolio for the time being.
